That was corrected when the measuring style was changed. The buck grew it,so give him credit for it. Hope he gets to put a tape on him. "Shoot straight"

He has a youngish looking face but is sway backed, pot bellied, and short legged. I would guess he is in his prime at 5.5 to 7.5 years old. Or maybe just past his prime.
