Great to see! The 3 hens and 8 poults that have been hanging around my house have joined up with another group and there is about 25 turkeys in it. That is by far the biggest group of turkeys that we've had in the 26 years I have lived here. The bad news is that they have destroyed my chufa patch. They were just starting to put on tubers and they are scratching the field clean.

I’m curious to see what they’ve done to my chufas. Been out of town

I got a photo of a hen and some young ones and we don’t have many turkeys in our area. There were 8 in all.
You coulda knocked me over with a turkey feather!

I’ve let some places grow up a little here this year. Seems to have helped. My oldest daughter found an old nest maybe 50 yds from the house the other day. Can’t believe the dog never found it.

I finally saw a few young ones today. Two groups that had 10 or 12 in each group. One of the prettiest sights in all of nature
