A while back there was someone who was saying that this powder out of a 7mm-08 shooting a 140 accubond was a very good combination but I can not find it. Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of swapping from IMR4064 to this because it is quite a bit cheaper.

Bad thing even if it works good in other people's rifles you won't know till you try it.may just depend on how accurate you want to get and how many different bullets you try to make you happy.
I have no experience with ramshot powders or know if big game is even listed for 7-08 any where though.

I don't have a 7 08 but I understand Big Game is the go to powder for this round with 120 and 140 gr bullets.

I’m getting great accuracy with 140 grain Partitions in my 7-08 with BG powder @2860fps out of a 20” barrel. I never tried it with my 120s. I already found a load for my 120 before I tried the BG powder. I’m getting 3000fps with 120 grain NBTs using Varget.
