Am I the only one having issues with the Link S?? Anybody getting pictures transmitted with 2 bars?

you have to do a full format of your SD card and download the latest firmware from the website.

I use link evos. They will not transmit with two bars. If your signal goes up and down between two and three it will transmit sometime. Im up on a mountain. Mine will work on the south side but not the north side of the mtn. Dont work good in a hollar either. Dont get near the signal my phone does either. I ordered stronger antennas, that didnt help. Youve just kindof got what youve got. Sometimes theyre ok, but most of the time I despise spypoint. If I do have problems with mine, generally a new sd card will fix it.

Yep I went from getting good transmissions with two bars for a couple of years to getting very few since their server crash. Dealing with them is tough...typical Canadians!!

My Micro transmits regularly with 2 bars.

Same here but strangely now that I have switched to the LTE model it says I have 5 bars in the same spot..??? Seems like a big jump for 3 letters. I don't care if they say it has 30 bars or 1 it works fine so whateva.

I just got a micro. Everywhere in the woods I could only get the red light. Even a spot where my phone showed 3 bars LTE. Last place I had it connected was at my house(shelby county). Lease is in Tuscaloosa county. Stopped in town in Tuscaloosa where there was full service and it connected. Then shucks it off and tried again at a spot in town with two bars and it connected. Just wondering if the change in locale it needed to connect to a local tower first then it would have worked in woods. Will try again a different time

It's sure worth a shot to just leave it off and the turn it on at the location and see what happens. My camera would be using the same tower whether at home or the field so I can't answer definitively.
