I would like to find a dove hunt I could bring my twin boys on this year. I don't care if its opening day or not. Doesn't matter if its during the week or not. They have never been and I would like to take them and let them see what its about. I don't mind paying. I'm not doing a public land hunt so that out of the question. I would like to know who is going to be there. Any info or leads would be appreciated.

My son and I did a youth hunt at Lowndes management area a couple years ago. It was safe, we had birds, and had a good time.

Bump. Don’t know why because I know there aren’t any paid dove hunts this year

Just FYI, the registration for the youth dove hunts is Aug 10th. I used to take my sons, nephews, rent a kid...lol, almost every year. Went on several that were very good, but a few that were a bust, overall a good experience. I recommend registering as quickly as you can on the 10th, as they tend to fill up fast.

Another vote for youth dove hunts through the state. We’ve been to several. Never over crowded. Sometimes you just show up and hunt after the safety briefing, others will have lunch, others will have door prizes and lunch. We singed up this morning.

Ditto. We are registered and will be giving them another go this year.
