Make sure the screw is tightend down. Otherwise take it to Gundoc he's good people. Make sure the cylinder rod is tight also. Yeah check both. Especially the cylinder rod, i bet it's catching

A Charter Arms has a few things that can cause that problem. As mention above, check the collar on the ejector rod and the screw that holds the thumb latch on. Some version of those guns have an adjustable, pin inside the frame. I have seen those turn themselves in with use and cause a sticking problem. You can turn it back out with a small flat tip screwdriver. If that's the case, I'd put some blue loc tite on it before calling it good.

There is a latch assembly screw below the firing pin. I adjusted it out a little and it helped. Will keep messing with it.
