NWALJM OP 10 point N Joined: Apr 2015 Posts: 3,287 Hartselle, AL	Was some count. Pan-seared venison loin with a balsamic reduction served over mashed potatoes with asparagus. First time I’ve tried the balsamic reduction and it is a great finishing touch to the dish.

I melted and whisked in some butter at the end to give it some more body but that was it. Adding blackberry is a great idea though. The Meateater Cookbook is a great addition to the shelf if you eat a lot of wild game and fish.
