I have a kind of unique situation. I have a 1.5 acre field and a 2.6 acre field connected by a half acre spot that pinches running N/S. I've planted various things in the past in all the spots but this year I'm planting a grain/clover mix on the 1.5 and I'm going to plant all 2.6 in brassicas.(if successful I'll rotate next year) I am going to mix it all together in the .5 acre spot.

What are you planting as solid stand brassicas if any? I know buck on the bag stuff gets a hard rap, so I'm curious on brassica mix recipes as well.

Kale, rape, daikon radishes. Dont overseed. People will tell you daikons wont do well in a mix, just dont overseed. More kale and rape than daikons

Theres absolutely nothing wrong with buck on a bag products doing smaller plantings like this. You just dont want to plant 10-15 acres like that. They already have the correct percentage of seeds, less to worry about.
