Serious question. How many times do you need more than one shot?
I am not an experienced turkey hunter and I am looking for an inexpensive gun to use the 2 or 3 days I get to hunt per year. I just saw a single shot that is made as a turkey gun on line for around $135. What about it?

Thanks for the help.

I don't recommend.

I'm probably not going to order it online, but the one I saw was an interchangeable choke.

Thanks,
TR

I don't recommend it either. I hunt with a fellow that needed 3 shots to kill one not too long ago. Cost him about $24 for those 3 shots. grin

I'd like to have a little single shot 20 to carry late season just to reduce the weight, but eventually you'll come across a turkey that needs 2 shots.

Smart arse! Correct, but still a smart arse. I wouldn't own one, but that's me. Buy it. When u figure out you might need another shot or two, stick it in the safe and go get anuther 1.

I wouldn't reccomend it either. I prefer at least two shots and I have seen when I needed three.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

I wouldn't want one myself. Would kick like a SOG and every so often you need more than one shot on a bird or if you ever travel to states where you can kill more than one in a day you may need more than one shot there also.

Nothing wrong with a single shot for turkeys. Just load it with the right stuff, and choke it right. It may cost you a bird once or twice every ten years. But if you load it right, it won't cost you as many birds as skimping on shells will cost those who spend big money on guns but go cheap on shells.
