The M2 was just a select fire version, correct?

I burn through to much ammo as it is....don't need one with that selective fire switch on it😁

I've had a hankerin for one of those for a few years. And yeah, any weapon with a "happy switch" adds to the fun factor smile

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

That was a popular rifle while growing up in the mid 70's in my dog running days. I sure miss those days along with the people I hunted with.

Had one growing up, no telling how many rounds I've sent with one like that.

Always wanted one of those. I think the time for picking up one cheap has long passed. Still keeping my eye out though.

Yeah they are fun. I've had a couple over the years I wish I'd kept
Wish we could still get them for $80.00 ordered off the back of an American Rifleman magazine.
Oh, and shipped straight to you with no 4473

My father had one that burnt up in a house fire. I enjoyed shooting it. I had the opportunity to purchase one many years ago at a little pawn shop that was made by National Postal Meter. Guy wanted 400 bucks. Now that same model will run you about 1500. Still kick myself for not buying it.

Put a folding stock on one and maybe modernize it with a red dot and one of these things is a great home defense weapon. With good bullets the .30 Carbine is way ahead of most pistol caliber carbines.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I inherited a full Winchester from my grandfather. I am not a fan at all of it. Funny some love and others hate them.

My old M1A1. They are fun as hell to shoot. When I was a youngun, I killed a truck load of deer with it. The grand kids loved shooting it almost as much as I did. Now it just takes the occasional ride in the clown car when I fill feeders or change cards in cameras. I did pick up 1000 rounds for it last year. Figure it would make a good SHTF gun in a pinch.
