And yeah, any weapon with a "happy switch" adds to the fun factor I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time. NRA Life Member

I had the opportunity to purchase one many years ago at a little pawn shop that was made by National Postal Meter. Guy wanted 400 bucks. Now that same model will run you about 1500. Still kick myself for not buying it. With good bullets the .30 Carbine is way ahead of most pistol caliber carbines. No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

The grand kids loved shooting it almost as much as I did. Now it just takes the occasional ride in the clown car when I fill feeders or change cards in cameras. I did pick up 1000 rounds for it last year. Figure it would make a good SHTF gun in a pinch. What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.
