Anyone have any experience with them? I only have one side by side shotgun an old Fox 16 gauge. But it has pretty short barrels. Definately not a dove field gun. Been on a nostalgia kick and I think a side by side 20 gauge might be what I want. Yildiz makes an Elegant A3 that looks nice. anybody have any experience with them or Yildiz gun in general?

I think they're pretty well thought-of in the sub- $1,000 category. I think some are even sub-$500. Go for it.

I’ve got a 20ga over/under and IMO is that if I wanted a better gun I’d be looking at one of the big 3 B’s. I’ve got experience with several Yildiz’s and probably several thousand rounds through without a single problem. Their pretty tight when new but a little lapping compound and it’s smooth as butter. The triggers aren’t as good as say a browning or beretta but not bad. They are on the light side and the recoil pads are pretty thin so they’ll wear on you if you shoot a lot. I can shoot a 100 target round of clays with 7/8oz #9’s and I’m good.

I have a 20 Yildiz o/u & really like the gun. I would prefer a Citori over it I'm sure but for my 2 or 3 dove hunts a year the Yildiz is fine.

I have torn more than I can remember down to their individual parts for cerakote.
They are made well. They save money on manufacturing by using pins instead of screws, and the aluminum receiver.
Still good guns though.
I'm considering one in 28ga
Like 1shot said, they are tight when new.

Had a 20 ga O/U and two semi-auto 20ga. No complaints on any of them except the O/U was really light and made my shoulder sore the day after the doves were flying.

Got several friends with them, and my brother owns a 12. Good guns. I'd give the CZ Bobwhite a look too. I'd love to have one in 28.

I just bought a 410 sxs.
I have not shot it yet, but for the price I was impressed with the feel and the handling. I know it’s not a $2k or even a $1k gun, but I think it will be fine for what I have planned.

I handled several 28’s they had in o/u and an o/u 410. Heck, I had a hard time choosing.

I paid less than $500 for mine. It has screw in chokes. There’s several folks on here that have the 20’s in o/u that turkey hunt with them.

I wanted one in either 20 or 12 but could not find an Academy that had one in stock within a 6 hour round trip of my home. And Academy is their sole distributor in the US. They also do not ship to a FFL holder either. So I now have a CZ Bobwhite G2 in route to my FFL holder.

I have 12 O/U. Normally Academy puts this gun below $500 during black Friday
