Just bought a ten point crossbow for my grandson from a great guy on Aldeer. I know zero about crossbows. Any suggestions on what kind of bolts and broadheads I should get him to use ? Been looking at Swhacker 125gr. 2.25" but have no idea if this would be a good choice. I have no idea what the fps is, or if it matters.

Any useful info. would be appreciated.

I've shot 100 gr rage extremes for years. Shot the trypans for the last 2 years. Great results and insane entry and exit wounds . Not extremely durable but I have killed 3 deer with one broadhead . This year I'll be shooting 150 gr rage trypans and 200 gr bone broadheads.

100 grain muzzy 3 blade. Bow or crossbow, they've never let me down.

Get some bloodsport witness arrows and I think I’d go with a 150-200gr head.

Ten Points need a certain knock. Call Dave at Wyver supply He has all the supplies you need and his prices are great. He has forgot more than I will ever know. I get my ten point bolts from him, he is cheaper than the ten point site.

Cant go wrong with this advice. Ten Point started using a omni nock vs a flat knock a couple of years ago. For hunting I like the easton full metal jacks and 125g NAP spitfires

Now they are going with Alpha Nocks. I bet to get better string contact with those very narrow bows

The pro elite with the alpha nock is what I've been shooting out of my tenpoint.

I have. They are ok . Gets aggravating having to take the nock off to turn them off. They don't always work after blowing through a rib cage and bouncing off a rock...
