I just spent an hour and a half plowing and sidedressing my young watermelon patch, and begging my friend Jesus to send them some rain. They were starting to look puny. I liked about 5rows getting finished. Left the field with it raining. Im so glad to have a friend like Jesus. Sometimes I think he showes out just to prove he can.

That's right, he does. We need some ourselves. Just had a storm developed just east of us, but there calling for a good chance next several days so we shall see.

Haven’t had any in 3 weeks here. I’ve had to water the yard and garden every other day.

I ran by my water melons yesterday myself. I didnt fertilize, not sure what to put on them? I did water the tomatoes friday with miracle grow water. They are looking great! Corns back, green beans will be ready to pick early this week. Just hope this rain continues so we can have a good corn crop, really need it this year.

Every bit of my corn is now flat on the ground, squash took a pretty good beating also.

Heck naw, and it happened again today. Raised over an inch at work and all the way until about 2 miles of my house. Maybe the good lord will provide tomorrow. Need it bad.

It’s rained far too much at my house the last week. Crazy how weather works.

My garden and watermelons are loving the rain. Not been raining enough to hurt the peaches. The humidity sux but thats part of alabama summer. I can stand outside in the shade and wet a shirt in about ten minutes. I hate the humidity, not the rain.

We wound up with a total of 1.6" of rain in the past 12 days. I would love to have gotten more, but I am sure thankful for every drop we got.

We're getting the best rain right now that we've had in probably a month. I'm guessing 1/2" if it moves on soon. Maybe it'll stay put.

You know why you put up rain gauges? Because it’s hard to estimate what’s falling while it’s falling. My 1/2” estimate turned into .2” very thankful for it. My brother on the other side of town got 1.1”

I have been telling the wife I need one for a while just ain't picked one up yet.

If it don’t rain today it will be two days in a row with no rain. We need at least 2-3 more to dry out.
