Never heard of hawglips. Didn't even know that was a member name
But that's good info. I was late getting on the TSS train, due to my own stubbornness, but now that I've boarded I'm very happy to be here.
I've killed (well I can't say how many) turkeys with both 7 and 9 TSS in the past two seasons. Nearly all of them died instantly, like bang flop, drop, the end.

If you load your own, he’s an excellent feller to buy shot from, and a wealth of knowledge as well.

DId you read the bio of his partners?
Jeff fell in love with wild turkeys on his first hunt on 4/1/89, since then Jeff has harvested almost 500 Turkeys, over 100 Grand Slams, 2 World Slams and 1 US Super Slam. His passion for Turkey hunting, Drive to be the best and newfound love for TSS has partnered him with Blake and Hal to Found Tungsten Super Slam Ammo.

Blake has been chasing turkeys for 27 years in the Georgia woods that he calls home. Completing 15 grand slams as well as a grand slam in 49 hours in the 2019 season with friend Jeff Budz. Blake reached out to Hal Abbott 6 years ago when he saw the need for a better load and had heard of Hal's knowledge of TSS. That phone called led to what we have today. Tungsten super slam ammo what I believe is one of the most complete loads on the market.

Peach, you will need to contact them. I heard they are getting more loads up and going for next year.

In that case, stay away from the 3.5" loads. They don't help at all.

I’ve turkey hunted on a regular basis for 46 years and I go with what’s been successful for me. When I first started, 30 yards was comfortable range. Now 60 or more yards is comfortable. Sure, I could go to a 20 gauge and probably do about the same as what I do with my 12, (especially with TSS), but I’m not changing something that I have a ton of confidence in and have been very successful with.

I'm excited about us providing loaded shells!

But no worries on the shot availability - will be continuing to supply and work on load data.....

How do you kill almost 500 turkeys, and have 100 grand slams? Isn't a grand slam a Rio, a Merriam's, and Eastern, and Osceola, and a Gould's? He's killed these turkeys in exact 1:1:1:1:1 proportions? I'm impressed.

Grand slam is those species minus the Goulds. It's the 4 major species in the US, thus the term grand slam. I believe the World Slam includes the Gould's and Oscellated.
