Got an update this week-end that was a little disappointing.Looks like I will have to re-plant about 1.5 acres that did not get dragged in because of a rainstorm and the weeds are just nuts. The corn/beans got sprayed Saturday so hopefully that will help. The corn germination was poor for first time in the 6 years I have been doing this.No more Rural King seed.Irregardless, the deer should have plenty to eat. Best of both worlds, weedy clover even CNC could love and a summer plot. The plot is only an acre so it is considered sacrificial, except the sorhum/millet component. If history repeats itself it will get peas/beans about 4 feet tall, and then get decimated. The beans are doing great in the properly dragged areas, but corn is sparse . Not so great in undragged areas, which will get replanted.
