dust them lightly with a little corn starch, it will give them that added crisp. I do them on the BGE all the time and totally cover them with cornstarch and they turn out really crispy.

Use the Serious Eats guide for crispy wings, and if you want just skip the last steps involving the vodka batter. Then once fried, do your wing sauce toss in a bowl.
