Anyone use this powder?
I have an 8lb'er and need to work up some loads in 7mmRM, 300WM, and 270.
Hunting Bullet suggestions for these?

I use the S.C. version in mine and my son’s 270. His likes 130 gr. Hornady interlock with 59.5 gr of powder. Mine likes 130 gr SST with 58.5 gr of powder.

Use H4831SC in one of my 300 win mags. IIRC @ 75 grs under a 190 Berger VLD. Thats a little over the max loads you will find in the guides so don't start there. 😀
Good powder which changed the game for magnum cartridges when Bruce Hodgdon brought it to the market. The original H4831 was surplus 20 mm cannon powder from WW2 which he bought in bulk resold in 50 lb cans for @ $10!!
Those were the days.

I've tried/used H4831SC before. It was very accurate, but unfortunately, it was too insanely slow for me to use.
