Dolberry Holler and Pikeville are in Ol' Hi-Jackson Co. Those places are Scottsboro suburbs and mighty civilized compared to upper PRV, hollows up in North Jackson and extreme North Sand Mt area.

Daddy told me one time that he met an old man up there claimin to have killed one of the original restock deer they brought in at skyline..said it had an aluminum tag in its ear an weighed like 300lbs and had an 18pt rack an was like 15 years old..or somethin...we never bought into the tale much...but several folks claimed to see the deer...thats one of many small rumor type legends ive heard come out of ol high jackson....rekin that has a connection to game check numbers

There was one of the deer released the second restocking with tag , monster rack , old and big as hell killed the first hunt ever on Skyline. I know the feller well who killed him and the spot he shot him.

No doubt some of first release and maybe second were killed by locals illegally.

I think I know who you're talking bout , pretty rough feller, loved to play with guns that shot fast and explosives. I think po-po killed his brother. Only killing I know of where victims were fed to hogs was on Sand Mt. he did run them through a wood chipper first though.

jbatey, the only Proctor that I know is Greg. If you tell him I said this, I'll kill you. He's a good dude. He'd likely help you in any way he could, IF he knows you. AND, if you ever need an expert on ANYTHING, he's your guy. He's worse than me. LOL He and I use to work together and one day he called me a know it all asshole when we were arguing about something. I told him that if there had ever been a case of the "pot calling the kettle black" that was it. He busted out laughing because he knew that was a fact. If you ever meet him, tell him the know it all asshole said hey.

We have property at the top of the mountain, he borders us on the bottom at our Southeast corner. I've never met him, that I know of. If and when I do, I'll make sure to tell him. He sounds like my kind of people lol

When he called me a KIAA he was “enlightening” me on how to grow tomatoes. Told me to put a couple of handfuls of quickcrete In the hole. I told him lime would be better and the roots wouldn’t have to bust up a concrete slab as the tried to grow. That’s what sparked the “You’re just a KIAA.” LOL

The concrete gives them character. No tomato should be handed the easy road. Your tomatoes are PRIVILEGED
