I bought a New England Firearms 17 HMR single shot the other day and don’t like it like I thought I would. It’s got a 4x32 scope on it and a bull barrel. Sell for $225 OBO or trade for another firearm.

Ive had a ruger american and a A17, neither were as accurate as I was expecting. Not so much that I dont like the A17 as I just wanted one for a long time so when I finally got it, it was sortof a letdown. Nothing wrong with it per say. I didnt like the ruger, just didnt like it. The A17 is more accurate than the ruger. Also I bought a nikon rimfire scope to go on the A17 and it broke about the second time I got the gun out, took them several months to get it back to me. Just a bad overall experience.

I think that’s what it was for me too. I had built up getting one for so long that when I actually got it, it was just a small caliber gun so it was a letdown

I would be interested in trading for a Leupold scope with a 50 objective on the business end

You right about the magazine. If I loaded more than six, it would jamb. Does better with the 25 rounders that snap together gorilla style.

What kind of range do you have with it? Would it take down a coyote?

So you're saying this would be perfect propped up in the corner of the shooting house during deer season? For a coyote.
