Weve delivered to auburn before for 600 a load lol...itd prob be cheaper if u found some closer boaz delivery is 200 from here 150 if within a few miles...blount county uses it for roads its good...

Chert pit off 431 at the foot of bishop mtn is like $40 a tri axel load. Ive hauled probly a 100ton of top soil out of there...good dirt. CA langford hauls it an them boys need the work. I hauled about 50 ton out of langford today...they movin over there purty good right now. If i hauled for the public..id haul it for you...im startin to think i need to buy me a truck.

Oh, heck no..lol..i should have said otherwise..my bad..if im not misrembering, its $30 for a tandem which is usually an 18-20 ton load....and $40 for a triaxel which is usually a 25-28ton load. I figure you could get it hauled locally for under $225...i think jb20 can haul it very reasonably.

Chert pit off 431 at the foot of bishop mtn is like $40 a tri axel load. I drive by there a lot and for the life of me I can't spot any REAL chert. As in soft to hard flint rock with clay mixed in. I see reddish/orangish to brown dirt but nothing with rock content stands out on a drive-by. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm gonna be needing 2 tri-axle loads of BIG chert rock(football to basketball size) and a load of smaller chert this summer. Hoping to be able to get that and not have to get limestone rock.

Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. Some of the best chert I've ever seen is on Hwy 79 near Waterfront, just can't get him to bring it. Drove by there Sunday and thats where I was gonna mention

Its all base material to me..ill be honest....that stuff with big rock will shake your teeth out on a compactor or sheep hoof....it will work fine if you have a good solid foundation an pack it. I know what yall are talkin about...it just all acts about the same to me...ill admit..some is better than others tho. I dont know where you can get big chert rocks..it all depends on where you dig it...our own chirt pit at the landfill has some extry sized rock on one end..the other seems to be smaller

I built the pad for my shop amd my driveway base with it. Packs really well and doesn't have much big rock to it. What few big chunks was in it I was able to bust up with a hammer pretty easily.
