If your primary interests are turkeys you better stay north of HWY 64 in Tennessee or south of 72 in Alabama
Otherwise you’ll be badly disappointed
Unless you get East of Huntsville

Checkout Roshelle Farm Hunting Ranch on Facebook
I know a few guys in it. They have a ton of deer and some big ones. The rules aren’t suited for a guy that wants to take a buddy every time he goes or a bunch of kids, but if you are serious about killing mature deer and seeing a ton of deer and killing turkeys then it’s the place for you.
You're only as good as your worst shot-

Check out the LAND, LEASE and HUNTING CLUB forum newbie that is where this belongs.

In my opinion South TN and North AL are like comparing apples and oranges. Some will disagree, but that is my opinion. Heres what I would do if were you and South TN was an option. Look for land in TN. The demand for North AL clubs is so high it will be hard to get in a good one and it will be very very expensive. Not to say getting one in TN is going to be a cake walk and cheap. The quality and number and quality of deer and turkey you will see in TN vs North Bama will amaze you. It will be the best use of your hunting time and money. Just my 2 cents. I agree 100% with JBL’s summary.

All about finding the right place
They are everywhere but the good ones are hard to get into
Depends on what is more important? Turkeys or deer
And do you want the hassle of boning and 100% caping deer.
If you are a turkey hunter then I’d stay in Alabama.
