We just sprayed about a quarter acre to disk under im wondering how long I need to let it sit to get in the roots, my plan was to mow it 24-48 hours after spraying then turn it over with tiller the next day. will 24 hours be long enough to get to the roots before i mow or should I wait longer?

At least a couple weeks to decompose the roots.

I sprayed some stuff Sunday, and it was just beginning to curl this afternoon when I checked it. Another vote for waiting if possible.

i normally would wait atleast a week i just figured the plant is probably dead long before it actually curls or turns brown and that as long as the gly had time to reach the roots it would be game over either way I will probably skip this weekend and give it until mid next week

A few years ago my son tilled his garden about a week after spraying and every sprout died after contacting the vegetation that was turned under. He had to wait a couple more weeks and replant everything. 2 weeks is the minimum that I'd wait to till after spraying.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

He sprayed a straight gly mix or did he have something else with it? I know if 24-d is used I was always told to wait 30 days before planting any veggies. I’ve planted and sprayed gly right over seed to kill the little grass and never had a problem. Maybe I got lucky.

Gly has no residual soil activity. 2,4-D does, and has a half life of about 14 days, so 30 days is prudent.
