how in the world are they gonna do this school crap? If they send packets home for the kids to do then the kids send them back for the teacher to grade
Is that not gonna be a health issue? Because i thought i understood that that virus could live on your shoe soles for up to 5 days
So if that packet is in a house where a parent or kid may have the virus and it gets on the paper
Then is sent back to the teacher can it be spread that way? Iam just wondering because i have no clue, what is yalls thoughts or am i just over thinking this stuff

Well if i understand you can carry this thing 6 or 8 days without knowing you have it
So if they turn it in with the virus on it then its gonna spread through my family
Then i dont know i have it and i go on to the grocery store i will be
Spreading it also, which i guess its a risk to go to the store right now also
But we have to get food every now and again but we dont have to fool with school right now it can wait
The teachers know by now who is gonna be repeaters and who is gonna go to the next
Grade, good grief blount county people have to live in the stone age with this crap otelco company internet
That is gonna crash as soon as all the school kids get online if they go that route

From what I have read it only looks like it last 24 hours on cardboard and paper. I guess I will let the girls sit on the porch for a couple of days. Lol

We picked up my sons school work packet today. His teacher wore gloves to hand them to us. As far as turning it in, he has a google class page and my wife takes pics of his completed assignment and sends it in. His teacher can click on his name and see all of his assignments and grade them from her location. So far it’s working out ok. The teachers themselves have said this is a learning process for them as well.

Digital media is a viable option. Unless y’all are still using stone and chisels like the marine corps

Not all school district are in the same position throughout the state. Some district most kids have internet. In other half of the kids dont eat without a school lunch.

They are not all going to be equal with providing the same resources.

Massive numbers of kids don't have access to internet or computers. I bet it approaches 50%, even in 2020.

People that have high speed internet have no clue that many folks do not. One of my friends thought it was "1-2%" of people without internet. I bet the real number is closer to 50%. And just because you live in an area where it's offered doesn't mean you're giving Xfinity $150/mo for it.
