A while back I was visiting with one of my elderly neighbors and we were talking gardening. I learned a lot from this gentleman and I bring him lots of veggies from the garden. I was telling him how I would like to find and old bottom plow to turn the ground in the gardens. He looks at me and says “well son today is your lucky day, I have one sitting in the barn”. I asked him if he’d sell it to me. He said he’d never sell it but he’d give it to me as long as I use it and keep bringing him veggies. He took me to his barn and showed it to me. It’s an old Massey Harris MH-62 3 bottom plow. He told me to come get it, which I did. It was all rusty and lots of the bolts and nuts were rusted out.
I tore this thing down to every piece I could get it to. Cleaned all the rust, put all new hardware and gave it a brand new paint job. I put it together as a 2 bottom with the third on ready to bolt on if we use it on a bigger tractor. I think it’s not to shabby. The gentleman that gave it to me couldn’t believe it was the same plow.

I found some for a Massey Ferguson and ordered one to make sure they fit. If it does I will order the other 2.

The blades on the bottom of plow are hard to find , had same plow 20 years ago and like to have never found new blades , best arrowhead finder there is ,plow and let it rain

I can’t find anything for a Massey Harris. According to measurements the Shares for the Massey Ferguson plow should fit.

What kind of paint did you use on the Moldboards ?

Grey implement spray paint.

It won’t be there after the first use. Shiny during use and rust during rest.

Yes sir they are. We upgraded to a different push planter this year. This thing does a really good job.

Go ahead and stock up on shear pins (bolts) if you're gonna run it through ground that's never been broken. I bought one last year and broke one of my fields and it's amazing what all that plow turned up out of the ground.
