I love my Kamado, but for just the two of us sometimes, it's hard to beat our little cast iron Lodge Sportsman grill. Last night it was some Alaskan Salmon, seasoned with herbs and served with fresh broccoli and some toasted parboiled rice. Hard to beat this kind of meal for a healthy dinner. I washed it down with a shot of Bad Bitch Rum and a Yuengling.

I didn't know until I started researching my skillets, that the Sportsman's Grill was invented by Birmingham Stove and Range. When they fell into debt to Lodge, Lodge got all their patents and designs, such as the cornbread wedge pans, the cornbread stick pans and the Sportsman's Grill.

Love that little grill. we have made some fine meals on it.
