I am just looking at the timeline curve from initial exposure. A crap ton of Chinese came back here from over Christmas break, then in late January, folks got sick with flu-like illness and negative flu tests and several school systems shut down. Many older immune-compromised folks died from pneumonia between Jan 30 to Feb 29. Is nobody looking into this?

We visited with Chinese friends when they got back from China, week after Thanksgiving. I spent the entire month of December sick. My wife was also sick. Same exact symptoms, Doc said not flu, we just had to power the hell through it. Would start feeling better and then half way through the day I'd be on my knees with cough and fever. I truly believe this mess has already been through my household. If they were able to sort those who had it in December through March out, the death toll, and panic would be considerably less.

I was under the weather in February for a week and a half to two weeks. It wasn't the flu, but I have to wonder.

I believe they will in the future once you can test for previous exposure. For those that went and had ct scans or chest X-rays there is a distinct ground glass opacity in one or both lower lines of each lung. That is rather nonspecific of course but it is a hallmark sign. Also seeing elevation in LDH and d-dimer as well that really show how bad their lung issue really is. We only have one case as of right now but to my understanding that is some testing measure that can really tell the significance

Well, UAB has seen a rapid escalation in their COVID admissions in the last 24 hrs. Tuscaloosa is roughly 7-10 days behind that.

Wish it was hunting season.....year round
