A friend of mine mowed our grass up here, for no apparent reason other than I helped him rescue his dog. We wanted to do something nice for them, so we invited them over to eat breakfast. And a breakfast it was...

Two of my favorites. Never would have thought to combine them. The French toast looks similar to bread pudding. Is that the basic idea for making it.

I guess there are some similarities to bread pudding come to think of it, but I can tell you it is better than any bread pudding I have ever had. It's soft and rich and cheesy in the middle, but the top, bottom and sides are crisp and crunchy and the the bananas Foster all over it really finishes it off. All the eggs she puts in it really give the whole thing some weight.

Can you post the recipe for the toast. I make BF often so that is not needed. I know My wife would kill for this.
