Bout time! I know we got a few good killers on here! Couple birds already on the board too. Struck out today, but I will be after them again tomorrow.

Really solid team for sure. I hope I can keep up with you guys. Should’ve had one dead this morning but I got busted. He was gobbling when he was leaving though so I’m gonna try him again in the morning.

Congrats southwood, I hunted for about 6 hrs today, covered about 4 miles according to my phone which was good for a big fellar like me. Had one hit this morning at the hoot owl call twice. Started covering ground never seen or heard him again. Back to the salt mine tomorrow, then hopefully get one this weekend.

Tried to get out and see if I could find one really quick before work this morning. No luck. But I heard a couple yesterday morning on a different piece of property that I'm saving for this weekend when I'll have more time to fool with them. Hopefully I can get #2 tomorrow.

I had 1 bird gobble maybe 10 times Saturday morning in Colbert county and then disappeared. Headed to lauderdale to hunt this morning and didn't hear a bird. I'm off Wednesday -Sunday this coming week so I'll be able to get after them hard.

Points this am guys. Finally got a pretty Am up here to lock in on some birds.

Hell yea. Fine bird Coosa. These birds up here are acting tough. Gobbling like hell on limb then nothing on the ground. I can find em in fields with piles of hens. You show em a fan or a decoy and they run away. It’s gonna free up soon. Just not there yet

Nice job coosa. We got got this am. We were after 2 birds. Go off in after them and they go the other way. We sit down for about 30 mins then out of know where we had 4 studs come off the hill behind us and caught us off guard for sure. But it was sure exciting. Just couldnt finish the deal. Maybe one day I will ginish the job

I’m no hitting on shucks. Thought I had a jam up plan this am. Nope. Birds did totally wrong from they done last few hunts. Getting to that shitty part of season for me

I’ve gott a good bit of time off coming up to finish the season. Maybe I can upgrade.

Yeah there's not much gobbling going on around the house right now. Hopefully these next few days of sunshine will get them fired up a bit. I'll be hunting most mornings before work this week and then we're planning on camping out and hunting on the WMA all weekend. I'm hoping that I can at least upgrade that one spurred bird that I killed earlier in the season.

Had lots of gobbling just no finished deals. I'm off fri thru sun and gonna be at it hard. Sorry I havent contributed any, but it ain't cause I havent been trying. Hope to change that this weekend. Good luck gentlemen

It was just an average 2yo. +/- 3/4” spurs and 10” beard.

That wasn’t the bird that was with my big one though. This one was with the bird before that.

Ah I gotcha. I’m anxious to see if you get him! I’ve been trying on public some but to no avail. Never killed one on public before and really want to!

I did too southwood. I apologize for not being able to contribute many birds but it ain't cause I didnt try gentlemen. I appreciate the help from yall as a new turkey hunter. Learned a lot and learned what not to do as well. Looking forward to 2021.
