Kids are out of school next week and hope to take them fishing couple days. They love to catch fish but get bored fast when nothing is biting. Wondering if the bream are on bed early this year

I don't know about the river but my dads pond has bream lined up and down the banks. My kids caught around 30 in a couple hours the other day. Most around 13-15 ounces. It was a great day. They have been on the bed there for about a week.
Will track deer in Marengo, Greene, Sumter, Wilcox, Perry, Hale counties.

Don't think the shellcracker are on the bed yet.
I have a spot high on a bank, I can see the beds if they are there. None as of tuesady. This is on the chattahoochee.

Ponds in our neighborhood are showing bream beds but no visible activity on the beds. Makes me wonder if they knocked out a quick spawn two weeks ago. I'm seeing teeny minnows around the shorelines ... not bream minnows, but something.
Damn fish. Always keeping us wondering.
