Yes a lot of hogs move out before the flood but some always get trapped

I bet they’d hit a Hula-Popper

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

They’re just trying to get out of cold water. If it was hot outside, they’d probably be doing laps in it. Whenever it floods, any piece of dry that a a critter can get on is fair game. They don’t care if it’s occupied by people or not. I’ve had to push deer out of my Jon boat.

The real question here is "How many of them did you successfully take out?" grin

Until Alabama comes to its senses on hogs (and coyotes, too), and makes them nuisance/outlaw quadrupeds (like LA, TX, etc) and NOT game animals, you’ll be breaking the game laws and getting ticketed for using any method not deemed fair chase, to kill them. It’s stupid that wardens can write tickets under hunting laws for removing ANY species deemed a nuisance priority.

I know of a bunch that have been eliminated out of the backwater. I'm sure some will drown too.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...
