Both of them were wrong. Simple as that.

Anyone who would stand behind a car and physically prevent a person from leaving their parking spot needs a hobby. It’s doesn’t even sounds like the man was correct about the handicap situation.

The guy standing behind the car had no authority to hold anyone unless he’s a member of the “ parking lot police “
I would’ve backed over him too

It's under Title 32. 32-6-233.1.

Im not sure what i would have done. Probably just stood there while calling the cops and watching his hands closely.

The guys sayin you would have ran him over: he didnt have a weapon nor did he really show force, etc... If yall backed over him and he died, im pretty sure yall would be sitting in prison with big bubba for atleast 5yrs.

Last time I was at the DMV there was a sign stating that no doctors letter was needed to update your handicap place card. It's abused more than it's needed

I know only one fact. The common denominator of this story is Walmart. Good enough for me.

I guess some of you know him better than his doctors, that is impressive. I hope to have your abilities one day.

There isn't a dam thing wrong with him and that is OBVIOUS.
A mere flesh wound in his lower leg - is NOTHING.

He is a SS disability abuser plain and simple.
And so are a major percentage of people on SS disability.
They just don't want to work.

The system does get abused without a doubt and have seen it first hand. He was able to obtain a permit. Very well could be an abuser of the system. Not all disabilities are obvious though. Unless you know him better than I do ( which is not at all) you don’t know shucks.

If I were the driver of the car I would have rolled up my windows and called the cops. You back into him and you would be liable for a lawsuit.

Had some folks do the same thing to me at walmart. They thought I was too slow leaving my parking spot. There were many open slots but the had to have that one. They finally gave up on me and got another spot. Which was only about 5 spaces down. Then stood behind my truck. I just SLOWLY backed up. I did bump one of them. But it was not hard enough to knock them down. Mission accomplished, no one injured.

The guy standing behind the car is an idiot. Our family HAS to have a van accessible parking spot due to our sons wheelchair. When losers choose to take the handicap parking spots, using grandma’s parking decal, then we are forced to double park. Which also makes people mad. YES, it is very aggravating watching, mainly democrats, use a handicap parking spot then watch them walk around the store for 30 min to an hour without difficulty. But, that’s life. People are buttheads and that’ll never change. So, we just deal with it.

We have handicap hang tags. Our son is disabled. The wife will use it if she’s trying to move fast to get him something or get the shopping done in time to get it home and stowed before getting him off the school bus. I’ll use it if we are trying to get the shopping or errands done to get him from the sitter. And I don’t limp, but may appear mentally disturbed if some DA tries to block my Jeep in. You can’t judge a book by the cover. So people should keep a shut mouth and move on unless they want to take over some of the duties involved. @“&$!?)!!; busybody idots.

People should not be allowed to use HC hang tags or HC tags at all unless the actual HC person is in the car. It’s not for convenience or to hurry in and out of stores. It’s for the actual HC person.

I would have just backed up slowly and avoided the "accident". Old guy should have moved but there's also no reason to back up fast enough to even hurt him.
