I'd have to lock her in the house to load up to go hunting and she'd about rip the door off trying to get out. She wouldn't ride on the back, she had to sit on the seat in front of me and put her paws on the handle bars like she was driving. What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

I had a black lab, Shadow, that would sit and cry on the dock until I called him to jump in the lake with me and ride on the float. I have countless pictures of me and him floating together and riding in the boat together. My wife used to comment that she had never seen a dog love completely someone as much as he did me. Every single time he was with me - he was smiling. I held him in my lap and arms the day the vet came to house to put him to sleep - I was absolutely crying like a baby.
