Just passed committee. The courtroom was full of pro-gun protesters awaiting the decision. After the bill was passed, they were all ejected by state police under threat of arrest.

This legislator said this: “This is a compromise that takes into account folk’s concerns and is still a good bill that will help reduce mass murders in the commonwealth,” said Del. Mark Levine, a Democrat sponsoring the legislation.
What are they going to say and do the next time something happens?
Ah, yes. More bans and regulations, which won't work.
And then what are they going to say and do the next time something happens?

Rinse, repeat. But, "do something!"

Wait, the SAME police officers that are going to quit their jobs instead of enforce new gun laws? The same officers that will definitely defend the second amendment, and are trustworthy, and won't just do what they're told? Police will fall in line and do what they're told. Their paychecks and families' food are too important to do otherwise.

But it's foolish and naive to think that, at the very least, a good portion of them will "side" with whoever signs their paychecks. If you don't believe it, just watch....it's happening right before our eyes.
