Meaning, they are tough to sit in for longer than an hour or so. At least the ones that I have sat in. The bar in the back is more than I can stand for a few hours, hence built for the attention span of a 4 yr. old.

All the ones I've sat in were the regular ol' expanded metal seat with no back to speak of..........I've found I can sit in them a whole lot longer than a shooting house. I get bored quick in a shooting house, but in a ladder, I can sit for hours without losing interest. I will throw a cheap cushion in my backpack if I know I'm sitting in one and haven't had a problem.

And as long as you continue to buy cheap you wont ever have a comfortable 2 man stand

I have a millennium, 2 family traditions, and a cheap Big Game Envoy. I like all of them. The millennium and envoy have sling seats. The family traditions have the mesh seats made out of seat belt type material. I like them all and can sit in them all day. The Big Game is noticeably cheaper but for the money would buy more - my oldest son actually prefers sitting in it over the millennium - i tend to disagree.

for me, it's not so much the stand, as where the types of stands usually are. Shooting houses are, more often than not, on a green field or powerline or something.....ladders in the woods are a lot more interesting.

Plus all I've sat in have the footrest too close to the seat so your knees are right up under your chin. Very uncomfortable.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I get what you’re saying. I’ve just gotten bad lazy with the deer hunting lately.

Another vote for Hawk Denali. We have one and another of very similar design. Pricey but really friggin comfortable so 100% worth it.

I put one up this season at the club. Very comfortable with me and my son but the shooting rail is a little lack luster. Overall, I’d buy again and make my own rail.

I second this. I don't own one but have been in one and they are fine.

I've got 8 or so of Jimmy's stands, some of them are close to 25 years old and are just as good as the day I bought them. In our club we probably have well over 75 of them. Great guy to do business with.

I have a 2 man Hawk Sasquatch and it’s by far the best ladder I’ve ever sat in. Seats are great. Huge platform and the foot rest are perfect.

These are the only pics I have of one of Jimmy's double stands.

I have a couple of big winner doubles and they work good. But like superspike said those hawk doubles are nice.

Jimmy sells a rack you can add to make it easy to screw on a metal top also.
