Anyone running this tire on a truck? My tire guy is trying to put me in a set for my Silverado. Most of my miles are highway miles so I don’t need a very aggressive tire for any reason. I’ve always put Michelin’s back on my trucks and been pleased with the ride and performance of them. I just don’t know much about a cooper tire.

I have a set of Cooper AT3 not sure about the 4s. I only have about 10k miles on them but i am pleased with them so far. I too drive mostly highway. But I would say if you have always liked the Michelins I would recomend maybe staying with them. They may be just a little more pricey but "if it ain't broke don't try and fix it" . wonder if that one has made the sayings post?

Stay with the Michelin tires.
I didn't care for the ride and wear of the Cooper AT3 tires I had on my Tacoma.

AT3 are loud and they always kick rocks. They look great but they have a lot of noise

I think red fox has a point.
IMO for a vehicle that isn't going to be crazy off-roading those Michelin ltxMS in a load E are hard to beat. Let's face it 95% of guys with mud tires don't need them.

Not sure what this is worth, but I noticed the other day the owner of one of the large tire shops here in Baldwin County had a set of these on his personal truck.

Toyo Open Country. Nuff said.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I’ve had a set of AT3s on two different vehicles. They were great for about 20,000 miles and then wore out crazy fast.

I’m just wondering how he’s gonna get that head in between the sidewalls!

Just put a set on my '14 Tacoma last week like them so far , but I ain't gone far either. I did my research and narrowed it down to 3 and went with Cooper. Hercules is a great looking tire and they have a 2 year / 1/2 tread road hazard warranty , excellent tire for the $ they were my second choice. Road hazard is unheard of these days . BTW , I hear Michelins ain't what they used to be.

I used to recommend these tires, but after having them on 3 different trucks now, they start making noise after a while. The ones on my Ford Ranger now are not all that old, and make a lot of noise when you get up past about 50 mph.

We run the roads in my truck so I went with the Michelin AT’s. Nice and quiet on the road but aggressive enough when I’m off road at the farm land riding the hayfield roads. When I’m hunting at the hunting land I’m on my ATV that has dirt devil mud tires and I don’t give a rip what I put it through. Unlike my truck.

That's what I have on my Tacoma. I previously had Copper TA3s on it. They were noisy as Hell. These Toys are real quiet and I have a lot of miles on them.

I’ve got a set of AT3 XLTs on my f150. Around 55k miles on them. They have a lot of tread left in them. They were very quiet the first 40k miles, over the last 10-15k they’ve started to sound like a mud tire. Most of that is probably my fault, I don’t rotate them as often as I should and often drive for a few days before I wash mud off.

I’ve been running Nitto’s terra grappler g2 on my trucks and really pleased with them all around.
A few months ago l had a tire separate on my work truck Goodyear, my tire guy recommended the Cooper 4s, 10k miles on them so far and there fine.
They were $500 less than the Nitto’s so, we’ll see

Michelin or BfGoodrich is the way to go. And just in case anyone wants to know...BFG is about to come out with the KO3.
