Went out for the first time since thanksgiving. It was cold and WINDY. We found d 3 different schools but only one school that we could get bit on. We caught 6 before the school busted. Biggest 3 went over 2lbs. We tried several jigs but they wouldnt have any of them. The only way we could catch them was to tie on a slip float and let it drift into them with a minner. We didnt stay out very long due to family stuff so I wonder if the other schools fired up after we left.

Interesting that they busted up. Do you think it was from catching a few or them being sensitive to the sonar or something else?

I think it was from catching them. We didnt catch one for a little while and I decided to deepen up some. When I did, I caught one out of the middle of the school and it looked like they exploded on the livescope. The ones I could see went straight to the bottom. We left and came back hoping theyd group back up but they didnt.

Good fish fatty

Brent what’s crazy about that is, a lot of times when we shooting docks, we can see fish under there on the SI, but you gotta make one bite and then the rest of em will turn on. That’s why I have caught one and two man limits from under one dock in less than two hours many times.

That's what I figured would happen, or at least hoping, but it didnt. They were acting fussy anyhow.

Back last summer lol. I told my cousin after we fooled with one of them schools I'd drop a cast net on them if I had one, stab them in the eye and then turn em loose. They had me mad!
