Nice video. Aint nothing like North Alabama. Hard terrain, Hard gobbling, and the hardest drumming birds to boot.

Haha, thanks guys! The barrel cam is a Tactacam. It was good when it worked. Most of the time the cap that covered the battery would pop off when I shot and the file it was recording would not be saved bc of power loss. Im not sure if I may have stripped the cap or messed it up somehow or if it was a design flaw but I spoke with Tactacam after the season and they sent me a new cap. Still need to try it out before this season. I used gorilla tape on the back of it and i think it helped on a hunt or 2 but ultimately it failed too. Its hard to say how far I was when I sat down, but I really don’t think he was moving much when I was trying to sit down. I think he was in a road gobbling. Best I can remember he may have been about 100 when I sat down. But I was thinking I needed to be sittin my butt down when I was editing it so I know what you mean

7:06 AM..... “I’m just gonna sit here and let him think about it for a while” 7:07 AM...... “I’m gonna cut at him as soon as he gobbles again”. I’ve laughed at that all morning since I watched it for some reason. Probably because I’ve said those exact 2 things 1 minute apart about 5 thousand times. Great video and congrats on a beautiful hunt and turkey. Your videos are so much better than anything on tv now. I don’t get excited watching a turkey strut up to a decoy on tv but I can feel my heart getting up in my chest when I’m trying to spot his head in the little box you have highlighted in your videos. Congrats again!
