I am looking for a scope for a muzzle loader. I have an old 6x Burris scope that I used on rifles a few years back. However, I am not sure it has enough eye relief for a muzzle loader? Do any of you have experience with the old burris scopes? I am guessing that I need minimum 3 inches eye relief? I don't want to get whacked with my own scope. suggestions? thanks

Burris made a great scope with stadia lines for hold over but discontinued it. I forget the model number but have a couple and will look in a little bit. If you can find one of those I believe you’d like it

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Redhedder,

If you are not picky and want a FREE muzzleloader scope, then PM me with your address. I think I still have a Konus in the closet that came as a package with my Optima that you can have. I put a Leupold on mine.

whatever old/new scope that has a wide field of view and is clear will do. You'll probably never shoot over 200 anyway. If you do....then that's a different story.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I have a SWFA SS fixed 6 power that I have been happy with on my Knight Mountaineer.
