Foggy, sprinkles and warm but I’m out here.

I'm covered up in turkeys right now and there's a handful of gobblers gobbling. I've pretty much lost interest in deer hunting with all this going on

In the same bottom bw 2 food plots where I killed 8pt Wednesday. I saw a young 8pt about an hour ago. Sun popping out and a little cooler so hopefully they will get on their feet.

Checking my daughter out at 11:30 and heading south. We'll be after them in the morning.

Up at 5:40 and on the road to Sam R Murphy a little after 6. Twenty minutes later I park and realize my pack with license, permit, etc. is still at the farm house.

Absolutely nothing so far. Pretty dead out there.

Haven’t seen anything but had a turkey gobbling this morning, is it 3-21 yet? My dad came with me, first time hunting this year. That makes this trip a success for me. He’ll be 70 in March and I can’t believe how fast the years have clicked off. We’ve always hunted together but after last season he said I’m done, gonna travel with your mom. Thankful they are healthy and can do it. That being said I sure would like for him to bust a good one.

Amen to all that. Turkey season can't get here quick enough. I take every opportunity I can to spend time with my Dad. He sure invested a lot of time hunting and fishing with me growing up.

5 long beard is all I’ve seen since that little deer bout 7:45. Butt starting to hurt may have to take a lil walk about.

I left work a little early this AM so I could be in the woods by sunrise.I didn’t even have time to check in from the blind... I was only sitting for 20 min and busted a 9 pointer trying to slip across the road..I wish my 11y/o was with me he would have made a nice first deer for him..

About 20 or so right at dark, only two spikes for bucks, where are the bucks?

3 does and a spike the buck movement has went to a hualt here

Saw 2 does and a tall 6 and spike,spike ran the doe and the 6pt blocked him. Drew my bow on him but decided to let him walk. It was fun watching the show

Power crews were on the highway close to me. Blew their scent all in the woods. Oh well. Let it sit for a few weeks and try again.
