Years ago there was a guide on WEST POINT named Junior Collis. The spots were starting to show up more often and he told everyone to cut their throats and throw them back. Spots use a different type habitat most of the time. I wonder how Spot killa Bird Carver would have reacted to hearing that ? grin At that time a keeper bass was 16" on West Point.

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

I would agree , when they put in lock 15 you very seldom caught a spot but what they did was make it a spot habitat and it took only a few years to take over, spots love steep walls and deep water, My go to bait is a shakey head.

Man alive. You the man Birdcarver. I'm gonna have to pay you to take and teach me one day.

Great catch, and I'm sure a fantastic fish fry.
