I just ordered a Superday. How waterproof are they and how durable are the zippers?

I have a 20-year-old Superday that is highly durable, the zippers are great and although I haven't been out in a toad-strangling downpour it's not leaked or anything in mild rain.

I do not know about the current line of Superday packs and materials used now, but they're tough packs.

I have used my Superday pack (bought new) for several years with zero complaints. It is as bullet proof as a product can be.

I have a eastern day pack and it has been a good one. No complaints about it. Not sure about how waterproof, but badlands sells a bivy cover for their packs that is waterproof

Same here. Got mine on sale for 50% off. I think it’s a great size, and quality.

Have a 2200. Zippers overbuilt. Not waterproof at all. Will soak up blood, etc. but easy to clean.

It’s perfect for me. It holds everything I need and then some with room to spare.
