Is there anything (dye, dip, paint)that lasts longer and odorless for coyote traps
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

A lot of people have gone to paint, either spray cans or rustoleum/acetone mix. A lot still do the traditional dye/wax and there are other dips. All have pro's and con's. All will catch fur, but some need a longer airing out period.
I've painted and set 3-4 days later with no issues. I personally like paint because I can rework small batches if needed.
Don't over think scent control. They're going to know you were there. As long as the trap doesn't have lure/bait smeared on it you'll be fine. A lot of digging us the result of a spongy dirt pattern or something moves under their foot.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
