I bought 3 of them at beginning of season and I gots to say I'm impressed. I know they expensive but I'm so tired of that Chinese crap not powering up after 2 years in the woods.

Got two hyperfires going into year 8. pretty much out in the woods all the time. I ran two RM45's for 5-6 years; they died after going underwater for the second time and Reconyx couldn't fix them because they didn't have the parts any more.

That's what I wanted to hear. I'm going to leave these 3 out all year as well since I got the 5 yr warranty.

Very nice cams. You’ll typically get several more years of use out of them than most others.

Well, not only that but I called Recoynx before I purchased. They said avg repair after warranty was $25, you pay for shipping there, they pay for it on way back. To know that my cam can be fixed, fixed for good price and I'll have more use out of it, just cant beat that. I got a table full of these freakin Bushnells and Brownings out in the barn that are little over 2 years old. I learned quickly they aint made to sit out all year, just during hunting season.

I'd like to run a couple but, I prefer quantity lol. These elk have me running cams all over and it's 99% public, too risky for me. Glad you guys have a place youre confident to leave them

Yeah, I hear ya, they are expensive but so are the rest of them when you buy 4 or 5. What pisses me off is the failure rate. Spent a good bit of money on some bushnells and brownings only for them to fail after 2-3 years. Tired of it.

Tell ya a couple things while I'm here.
I can put a password on my cams incase of theft, not sure if you just take the batts out it resets everything.
Also, I've got one set up to take 3 pics then vid, another to take 10 sec vids only it keeps recording as long as their is body heat in front of it, so the deer has to walk away before it stops.

I like them so far.
Bunch of different settings that my Chinese cams don't have and pics are great. Night time vids compare with the busnells but def better than the brownings. I've posted some in here.

I strictly buy cams on who offers the best warranties now (other than reconyx). Like I said, public land here's risky. I do mount my cams 12-15ft off the ground so, I think that's why none have been stolen. I'm also covering an area of about 60miles here so 2-4 cams don't cut it. I actually need to buy a few more for Washington now lol
