I have some Burr Oaks from The Wildlife Group that started producing around 7 years. Not a ton of production but I haven't kept the weeds back like I should. They don't stay on the ground long enough to tell what's eating them between the deer and hogs.
The Burr Oaks on campus at Auburn are what prompted me to try them. They produce lots of huge acorns.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
