I dont have "hot disc" but know exactly what you're talking about. Have you tried an inversion table? Works wonders for me.

I loaded up a deer last December onto an ATV and hurt my lower back. Long story short I've got a bulging disc or two per the chiropractor, doctor and physical therapist. I did PT for a while and it got better and three weeks ago I was moving some 60lb bottles around and pissed it off again. I just had an MRI last week and will get it read this Thursday.

I bought a cheap back support from CVS. It helped a lot.

You will feel it certainly for a day or two on the medieval torture rack but it really pays off.

A GOOD chiropractor can work some serious magic. I've posted it on here before but Dr Mann in Arab (retired now but his son, Andy took it over and he's great too) cured my heartburn issues back in 1989 or 90. I was in for lower back troubles and he pointed to a place on the x ray and asked if I had a lot of heartburn, which I did. Said he'd fix it and he did. I went from near constant heartburn every day back then to less than 10 episodes in all the years since then. God strike me dead if that's not the absolute truth.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

You would, because it’s good for you. A good chiropractor will save you thousands in doctors visits and surgeries over the years.

there are good chiropractors out there, but a lot of quacks too. I would go to a real doctor... brain and spine guy first and then you can always choose to see a chiropractor later. I have 2 family members and a friend who chiropractors screwed big time. one needed a hip replacement and paid 10 years of adjustments. another broke his back and didn't find out for a couple months.

I should add that my best friend is a brain and spine guy. The stories he has about having to fix stuff that gets out of hand is crazy. once you get drop foot or something like that it is tough to get it fixed

You made a good move. I have a herniated disc and because of a chiropractor he’s been able to to keep pressure off of it and I’m pain free for the most part. I still feel it from time to time. Have flare ups serious to put me in the floor but those are very rare. Most of the time it’s because of something I did.

I always wondered how those chiropractors could see a disc on an x-ray...

haleyville al,
In the last two years I’ve had 2 rounds of shots and 2 surgeries. Be carful about chiropractors. They can do more harm than good. Don’t let them force anything. I would go to a doctor and do physical therapy. No matter if it’s frame damage or muscle. They can get it taken care of. I’ve been dealing with all of them. Honestly pt was the thing. Chiropractor will keep adjusting you but never help with the problem as far as a long term solution.
