I signed up for the ones at Cedar Creek, Portland landing and Ucheechee creek.
Any one ever been?

I’ve only been turkey hunting a hand full of times and have never shot a bird. I’ve been wanting to get into it for the past few years but do not have any private land to hunt and just haven’t made myself go try public land. I figure I’d try to give the SOAs a shot

Good luck. I’ve put in for it since it’s inception and I’ve yet to be drawn.

Anyone draw one? Nobody in my crew got drawn for any of the turkey stuff. It seems my luck only applies to deer.

4/17 cedar creek

they're doing it different this year...have to have purchased the WMA license before you can accept so while chosen, I just purchased the license (online) but still cannot accept. probably have to wait 24hrs or something

I had to do that for my wife on the deer hunts. It takes about 15-20mins to update in the system and then you can accept it.

Nope, still nothing as usual. I’m hearing of the same people that have been drawn up to three different times in three years for the duck and turkey hunts. What’s up with that? Don’t seem right to me

Got drawn as an alternate for the 4/17 Uchee hunt. Buddy got drawn as a hunter for the same weekend, same place.

Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.
