I don't have time to run to lease and check everyday. Would a cell camera on the trap count as checking traps?

I'd call the district biologist in your area and ask. I'm guessing no but may be wrong

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

I've had to get use to being in the woods after dark because of this. Not a problem. Kinda enjoy it. The only problem with running traps at night is the county LEO's have an emphasis on night hunters and I dispatch with a .22. I call or text one of them to let him know what I'm doing. I don't know that I'd want to pay for cameras on every trap, but this might be a place where the Cuddylink could work. If the traps were close enough together, you could check 16 traps from one location.
