I like to check them out. It doesn't necessarily mean I change my hunt times to match them, but I like to look none the less...

well they say on the charts I viewed 10th, 11,12, 13th are 3 to r stars. Best days coming up. I hope so as Ive killed some good bucks on the 10th thru 13th in the past. It is the prime rut in our area.

Same, but I’ve never noticed a big change in movement on good or bad days. Weather has more to do with movement IMO

I always look at them to see if they match up. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. I think barometric pressure is a better indicator

I have confidence in them. But there's more factors of influence than just moon phase and position...

I'd like to know what MBrock thinks. I guess I can look up some actual studies on it, but I feel like he has posted before on their being no actual evidence supporting it (although, maybe I'm completely wrong). It doesn't really matter for me either way, I'm going to go hunt when I can hunt. I stopped looking at them after my first season.

I know a guy that follows them strictly, and will only hunt during the "peak times". Seems crazy to me, and I haven't seen it ever pay off for him.

Based on my data, don’t discount hunting on a a new moon. People focus on full moon, and there is a peak associated,
But my data surprised me with the new moon success.

I just go when work and family permits. Weather makes a bigger difference.

Qdma did a wild deer collared study and basically didn't see any difference in movement based on phase or position of the moon.

My cameras certainly don’t correlate with feeding tables. Not in the least.

I compared pics against feeding charts for 2yrs and there is definitely something to it where I hunt but no guarantee. The star rating for the day is no good. I definitely will hang in there if a major feeding time is suppose to happen.

^^^^ this^^^^ But I still look at the movement tables just for shitz and giggles, and try to see if there's anything to them. I once killed a decent 8point by hunting midday based on the tables and the full moon. ONCE! LOL There's no better time to be in the woods than when you can be there. Moon, weather, or whatever. Time in the woods is the single biggest predictor of success that I have seen.

If i have a half day to hunt or fish I'll look at the tables & plan accordingly.

I look at them before I’m going hunting or while hunting. Just to see if there is a correlation. More for novelty if anything. They never match. I don’t feel they have ever aided me in killing a deer.

What’s the best time to try and hunt tomorrow.. especially if you can only hunt a few hours during the day?
