He's completing less than 50% of this passes each and every game against real teams. And to think, all you Aubbies said he was going to win a heisman this year. Not now, not ever. I sure hope Gus can find a JUCO transfer to step in for yall next year so that you can get your 8 wins.

Some years it is, some years it is not. If you will go back through most of the old posts on here from this season, the Bama fans were saying after the first couple games that this was not the team and certainly not the championship caliber teams they have fielded in the past. Nobody made the second string comment a single time in this forum this year, that I am aware of. If they did, they were delusional. Defense was sub-par and the offense could not establish a smash mouth running game to compliment the pass. To be honest, without the easy schedule, Bama probably wouldve lost at least one other game and been 9-3 like AU.

And yet he had no trouble with Bama. Pretty much moved the ball at will passing and rushing. Hmmmm.

I wouldnt exactly call 350 yds of total offense, while going 15 for 31 and 170 yds passing, moving the ball at will. Once again, trying to shape the narrative to fit your dream.

With that said, I've never, ever, not once met a humble Bama fan. They simply don't exist as far as I can see.

You should open your eyes and look around. I have been impressed with the way Bammers have handled every loss since I got on aldeer. Each time numerous Bammers have congratulated the other team and their fans then move along. Then when Bama wins it's usually mentioned briefly then they dont mention it again. I see much more humbleness from the red and white than the orange and blue on this board.

Bama is not top 10 by any stretch of the imagination. You can claim luck and voodoo or beat themselves or whatever but to the rest of us it is clear they just don't have it this year. And just so all of my fellow aldeer members know, one of my oldest and best friends is the most obnoxious bammers you could ever imagine and we jab each other and move on. My point is this is all light hearted for me because it is just a bunch of 20 year old kids playing a game. If my posts offend any bammers, well good.

you mean the lsu game with a wounded tua fresh out of surgery and the au game with back up qb. Seemed like both games were pretty close too. I'm sure you didnt watch many of the Bama games, most of yall dont watch many of the au games either. But if did you would of seen that with a healthy Tua, things would of been a lot different.

Just for the record since it has never happened before. I have beat as many ranked teams this year as Saban!

I agree with Ben. The overwhelming majority of Auburn fans on this site will never and have never given Bama’s football accomplishments the past decade it’s due. It’s either some lame post insulting someone for being a Bama fan or just a troll saying that the Tide cheat to win championships. Hardly ever a discussion about football philosophy or X’s and O’s. And yes there are some ignorant Bama posters too but it doesn’t seem like as many as Auburn fans and jock sniffing riders of other programs that have beaten Bama. Just my opinion looking through Crimson colored glasses and being an above average smart fella. grin

I've heard several Bama fans say AU saved Bama a lot of embarrassment.

I don't participate in the smack talk and rarely post in this forum. I was pulling for Bama to win to get Gus over to Arkansas.

With that said, I've never, ever, not once met a humble Bama fan. They simply don't exist as far as I can see.

I think any level headed Bama fan knew the defense wasn’t very good and that we’d probably drop a couple, however, it is embarrassing that we lost to Auburn who is at the bottom of the barred of the SEC and has a goofy coach. I’ll never understand why they signed that clown to an extension. Hats off though to Kevin Steele. I just hate he has to look over at that clown every day.

I’m ok with just winning national championships every other year or so. This loss just gives the barners false hope of maybe one day they will get one.

Sorry, Kevin Steele ( I edited) I wish Bill Oliver would still call in Finebaum. I used to like that segment when I used to listen.

The schmuckiest, mickey mouse crap I've ever seen is Gus doing that childish fist swoop and yelling boom! Nothing makes me eye-roll more than that. I can't even explain exactly why it bugs me, because I don't actually dislike Gus, but geez that's schmucky.

And really Alabama has been a shell of a good team all season, I'm a fan, but I thought we were a fake just waiting to be exposed. I wish I could've seen them play ONE single game the last 3 years with all of their best players at full speed and complete health. And when I say a "fake", what I mean is I think we had a whole bunch of average talent, surrounded by a handful of super elite players (the receivers, Najee, and Tua). The country still viewed Bama by reputation as having a quasi-NFL roster, but the truth is they've been really average on the lines for a couple of seasons. It flies all over me to hear the broadcasters talking about "this Alabama defense" (like it's crazy good), because I'm like "what defense y'all been watching?????"

We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.
