Headed down to Russell County this morning for the SOA gun hunt at Uchee Creek. Don’t really know what to expect other than it will be nice to hunt a different part of the state and the opportunity to see some nice deer.
Anyone else from on here hunting there this weekend ?

We're about 10 miles due south of uchee creek. All last week,I watched young bucks pushing does around hard. Big boys are still a few weeks away from chasing hard. Scrapes and rubs everywhere in the woods. You should see plenty of deer there.good luck.

What section are you going to be on? Keep an eye out for a big buck with my arrow stuck in his shoulder blade.
